Project Brief
Willmott Dixon Interiors were appointed to refurbish the existing combustion test laboratory area. This involved the demolition of existing wall and mezzanine structures and the construction of new walls and new mezzanine floors.
Project Solution
Thermal upgrades to the existing roof were included as part of the work. Works also involved Mechanical and Electrical refurbishment and alterations to suit the reconfigured layout and service proposed laboratory equipment, including new ducting and a flue to the roof.
The refurbishment will provide the University with materials production and aerosols instrumentation laboratory facilities.
