Project Story
Project Brief
Willmott Dixon Interiors were appointed to deliver the refurbishment of the Dome & Aragon buildings for the University of Greenwich.
Project Solution
The Dome building consists of a Student Union which was given a refresh through decoration of the soffit and wall finishes, as well as a full lighting upgrade.
The Aragon building was refurbished into new offices for student support staff. The scope of works included the formation of a new entrance, new internal walls and finishes to walls, floors and ceilings. We completed a full removal and upgrade to existing electrical and data systems with new mechanical ventilation, and new accessible WCs installed. This provides the student support staff with modern offices to assist in their work to help the students.
The new spaces in each of these buildings will positively contribute to the student University experience and provides them, and the student support staff, with modern spaces to work, study, collaborate and socialise.
